Pittsfield Charter Township was awarded $138,398 in stimulus funds in 2010 to improve energy efficiency through the State of Michigan's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Blog Grant (EECBG). With this funding, the township completed an audit of the township administration building to identify potential energy-saving upgrades and retrofits. Additionally, the funding allowed the township to hire a temporary Energy Coordinator to take the lead on a number of other green-related projects:- Green Pittsfield logo contest
