Clean-Up Voucher
As part of the stated goal of being community centric through its commitment to equity and sustainability, Pittsfield Township has partnered with Recycle Ann Arbor (RAA) on a new voucher program that makes drop-off recycling more convenient, user friendly and free of charge. Pittsfield Township is proud to present the Drop-Off Recycling Pass.
The Pass allows for unlimited, free recycling drop-off station access (waiving the $3/entry fee) to all Pittsfield Township residents and commercial property owners to the drop-off center located at 2950 E. Ellsworth Road, Ann Arbor, 48108. The Pass covers the $3 entry fee for users and will provide for the free drop-off of paper, cardboard, plastics, metal, glass food and beverage containers, up to three bags of textiles/used clothing, automotive and rechargeable batteries, up to five gallons of motor oil, up to five gallons of cooking oil, oil filters, styrofoam and plastic bags/film (see attached.)
The Drop-Off Recycling Passes are available to all Pittsfield residential and commercial properties and can be picked up at Pittsfield Township Hall at 6201 West Michigan Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. All you need to get your card is a driver license. Only one card per household/business will be issued.
RAA’s supplemental fees will remain in effect for general and yard waste, tires, electronics, appliances, light bulbs (and tubes) and construction debris. Card holders will also be eligible to participate in two paper shredding events per year at the drop-off station or Township Hall starting in Spring 2022, allowing for the free drop-off of up to five banker boxes of paper for shredding at no charge.
The Pittsfield Township Drop-Off Recycling Pass program is yet another example of the Township’s steadfast commitment to promote sustainability.
