NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting of the Pittsfield Township Planning Commission will be held at the Pittsfield Township Administration Building, located at 6201 W. Michigan Avenue on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.
At this meeting, the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of Pittsfield Charter Township, ZOA 17-200, Medical Marijuana Zoning Ordinance Amendment. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to delete the following zoning ordinance sections regarding medical marijuana:
- Section 2.02 Definitions: Medical Marijuana Facilities and Medical Marijuana Grow Operations including Medical Marijuana Facility, Medical Marijuana Grow Operation, Primary Caregiver, and Qualifying Patient
- Section 4.21.B: Medical Marijuana Facilities and Medical Marijuana Grow Operations
- Section 11.46 Medical Marijuana Facilities and Medical Marijuana Grow Operations
The proposed text amendments are available for review at the Pittsfield Charter Township Administration Building, in the Clerk’s office, and may be examined until the date of hearing, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Written comments on the proposed text amendments may be submitted to the Clerk’s office at the Pittsfield Charter Township Administration Building until the date of the hearing, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Any person having interest in said Township or their duly appointed representatives shall then and there be heard at such meeting or adjournment thereof relative to any matters that should properly come before the said commission.
