On Monday, March 1, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and Pittsfield Township will begin signal improvements at the intersection of Ann Arbor-Saline Rd and Oak Valley Dr.

The intersection will not be closed to traffic, but some delays are likely due to lane restrictions. The WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.

The signal work is expected to take approximately 8 weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

Once the signal work has been completed, construction will begin to add turn lanes on Oak Valley Dr, north and south of the intersection. During this work, there will be periodic road closures on Oak Valley Dr. Additional advisories will be sent ahead of these closures. All dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

Sidewalks and crossing signals will be periodically impacted by this work.

If you have any questions concerning, please contact Michele Ford, WCRC civil engineer, via phone at (734) 327-6652, or via email at fordm@wcroads.org.
